For the 2013 season, each returning pool membership (family, grandparent family, two-member, or individual) will pay a $25 Service Fee in addition to dues. Members will then have the opportunity to have the fee refunded to them or credited to their account if they volunteer at the pool to help with the opening duties, ongoing maintenance, or committee work.
Every membership that has someone from their household over the age of 15 volunteer four hours will be refunded the $25 Service Fee. If you cannot volunteer or choose not to, your $25 fee will go towards hiring people to finish the tasks that the volunteer groups are unable to complete. For swim team families, these four hours are in addition to volunteering obligations associated with the team.
